Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026
Last updated: July 28, 2026

Fidget Labs, Inc. (“Fidget Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides PlaylistPal, a music-library companion application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is used, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to you.

By using PlaylistPal, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the App or connect a music service.

1. Information We Access

Information from Spotify

PlaylistPal accesses Spotify information only after you choose to connect your Spotify account and authorize the requested permissions. Depending on the features you use, this information may include:

PlaylistPal does not receive or store your Spotify password. Spotify handles the sign-in process.

Information from Apple Music

PlaylistPal accesses Apple Music information only after you choose Apple Music and grant access through Apple’s system permission prompt. Depending on the features you use, this information may include:

Apple manages Apple Music authorization through your Apple ID and device settings. PlaylistPal does not receive your Apple ID password.

Authentication information

Spotify provides access and refresh tokens after you authorize PlaylistPal. On iOS, these tokens are stored locally in the Apple Keychain so the App can maintain your connection. Authentication tokens are credentials used to access the Spotify features you approved.

Information you provide

If you contact us for support or a privacy request, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your message.

Device and diagnostic information

The current version of PlaylistPal does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs. Apple may provide Fidget Labs with aggregated App Store, installation, sales, performance, and crash information according to your Apple device and App Store privacy settings.

Subscription information

If you purchase PlaylistPal Pro, Apple processes the purchase using StoreKit and your Apple Account. PlaylistPal receives subscription-entitlement information from Apple, such as the product identifier and whether an applicable subscription is active, so the App can provide Pro features and restore purchases. Fidget Labs does not receive or store your full payment-card number, Apple Account password, or billing address through the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

PlaylistPal does not sell your personal information. We do not use music-service data for targeted advertising. We do not provide Spotify content or your Spotify listening data to a generative artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model.

3. Playlist Changes and User Approval

PlaylistPal is designed to avoid destructive changes. The current version:

For Spotify Liked Songs cleanup, PlaylistPal shows review candidates using the limited recent and top-listening signals Spotify makes available. Before any removal, you choose the individual songs and approve creation of a private archive playlist. Only after Spotify confirms that archive was created does PlaylistPal present a separate destructive confirmation asking whether to remove those selected songs from Liked Songs. If archive creation fails or you decline the second confirmation, nothing is removed.

Disconnecting PlaylistPal does not remove playlists that you previously approved and created. Those playlists remain in your music-service account unless you remove them through that service.

4. Storage and Retention

Spotify authentication tokens are stored locally in the iOS Keychain. Apple Music authorization is managed by iOS and MusicKit. Music-library information is loaded as needed to provide the App’s screens and is not maintained by Fidget Labs in a separate user-profile database in the current version.

If you disconnect Spotify from PlaylistPal, the App deletes the locally stored Spotify access and refresh tokens. You may also revoke PlaylistPal’s access through your Spotify account’s connected-app settings.

Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with law.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

4A. Payments and Subscriptions

PlaylistPal Pro subscriptions are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple’s privacy policy and terms govern Apple’s processing of payment information and subscription billing. You can manage or cancel an auto-renewing subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.

PlaylistPal does not use a subscription to authorize changes to your music library without your approval. A Pro subscription may unlock additional features, but every playlist creation or other library action remains subject to the approval flow described in this Policy and in the App.

5. When Information Is Disclosed

We may disclose information:

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Spotify

Your use of Spotify remains governed by Spotify’s own terms and privacy policy. PlaylistPal is an independent application and is not endorsed by Spotify.

You can manage or revoke PlaylistPal’s Spotify access from your Spotify account:

7. Apple Music and Other Music Services

PlaylistPal supports Apple Music through Apple’s MusicKit framework. PlaylistPal does not access Apple Music merely because you use an Apple device. Access occurs only after you choose Apple Music during onboarding and grant the permission presented by Apple. You can change Apple Music access through the iOS Settings app.

Information obtained from Apple Music is used only to provide the features you request, subject to Apple’s applicable terms, platform permissions, and your device settings. Before collecting or using materially different categories of information through another music-service integration, we will update this Privacy Policy and any required App Store privacy disclosures.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may:

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to appeal our response or complain to your local data-protection authority.

We may need to verify your request before completing it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a request, email support@fidgetlabsinc.com with the subject line “PlaylistPal Privacy Request.”

9. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information:

You may withdraw consent by disconnecting the applicable service or revoking its permissions. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including use of the iOS Keychain for authentication tokens and secure HTTPS connections to supported service APIs. No system can guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account or information may have been compromised, revoke PlaylistPal’s access through the connected music service and contact us.

11. Children’s Privacy

PlaylistPal is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a user’s jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. International Use

Fidget Labs may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as PlaylistPal changes, including when we introduce a new music-service integration. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the App after an update is subject to the updated Privacy Policy.
